emerging
druid labs pnw (2007-01-06)
I came across this a couple of years ago, while on a meditation walk at Camp Ronora, in Watervliet, Michigan. I stepped over the empty half, paused, thought "That's a weird shape", and looked more closely at it. The outer shell is a hardened accretion of stone layers. The inside is a much softer stone. The dark pin at the point is a hard inclusion. I think a truck drove over it and cracked it open, where it lay waiting for me!
